The ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 29, 2015 marks the completion of major renovations to TPT now known as Twin Cities PBS. Superior Painting & Decorating, Inc was proud to be a part of this unique and exciting project. From the application of the new TPT logo to the building exterior to installation of custom digital graphic murals on interior walls, Superior Painting & Decorating worked throughout the project to provide wall finishes that brought TPT studios to life. Superior Painting installed the life-like Sesame Street graphic and farm scene graphics, stencil “ghost-graphics”, along with interior and exterior paint finishes selected by the Cuningham Group under the direction of McGough Construction.

Brittany’s Place – 180 Degrees

Brittany’s Place, run by 180 Degrees, is a $3 million shelter constructed to provide rehabilitation services from counseling to drug treatment for up to 14 girls, ages 10 to 17. The shelter will be a safe haven for young girls victims of sex trafficking and will support the Minnesota Safe Harbor Law that recognizes sexually exploited youth under the age of 18 as victims rather than juvenile delinquents.

Grand opening was celebrated on July 31, 2014 with St. Paul Mayor Coleman, St. Paul Chief of Police Tom Smith, General Contractor McGough Construction and many others in attendance.

Superior Painting was pleased to have opportunity to work on the application of finishes to this new two-level facility.  Diversity goals established on this project were not only met but exceeded.  Paint finishes were applied to the exterior cement panel sidings and interior finishes at the office, commons area and living quarters.  Interior finishes also included walls, ceilings, doors/frames, trim and stair steel.
