Ordway Center for the Performing Arts

Named “Best New Art Space” in the 2015 Best of Minnesota, this 2-phase $42 million renovation spanning over 2 ½ years was recently completed by Superior Painting & Decorating, Inc. through the direction of McGough Construction. The first phase consisted of a 16,800 sf addition to the back of the existing theatre stage-house for the new Production Wing. Phase 2 involved a complete demolition of the existing McKnight Theatre to allow for construction of the new 39,000 sf state of the art Concert hall designed specifically for the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra and is directly connected to the existing Ordway Music Theater.
